The topic here was "boredom". The client: the Austrian fashion magazine INDIE.

I wanted to make a fashion/fantasy/sci-fi mash-up drawing where I would tell a story in one picture. But the sci-fi part ended up being only a sketch (see last picture). Still I love the outcome. Maybe the best drawing of 2010. Yay.

The story: the Goddess of Boredom imprisoned the King of Fun and his entourage in her crystal prison because she felt threatened by him.

Magazine Illustration - Be Street #11

The assignment: create realistic picture frames for the street fashion photos plus show an Obama quote on the opposite page of each picture.

Materials: pencil, black ink pen, digital colouring
